Terms of Sale

Plain-language terms for buying garden plan downloads from Orbital Desk LLC. Effective September 30, 2026.

1. What you're buying

A digital PDF download: a to-scale planting reference layout, a native plant list with sizes, quantities, and spacing, a compliance packet matched to the county rebate program's published rules, and an application submission sheet. No physical product ships. After payment through Stripe, your download link is emailed to you and stays valid for 72 hours. If it expires, email support@rebatereadygarden.com and we will reissue it.

2. Reference layouts, not professional design services

These plans are reference layouts sized for homeowner installation and adaptation. They are not site-specific designs, and they are not prepared, reviewed, or stamped by a licensed landscape architect. Orbital Desk LLC is not a landscape architecture firm. You adapt the layout to your own yard and submit the application as your own. Before you install anything: confirm the program's current rules (they change), get a percolation test for any rain garden, and call 811 before you dig. For grading, drainage work, or anything structural, hire a licensed professional.

3. No guarantee of rebate approval

We do not guarantee your rebate will be approved or any payment amount. Counties approve or deny applications on their own criteria: site conditions, program funding, rule changes, and application review. Each PDF carries the edition date and the program-rules version it was checked against; check that edition against the program's current published rules before you file. What we promise is that your application packet will be complete and matched to the program's published requirements as of our last check.

4. Refunds

Digital downloads are refundable within 14 days of purchase if you have not submitted the plan with a rebate application. Email support@rebatereadygarden.com from your order email address and we will refund you to the original payment method.

5. Liability limit

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that plan. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including property damage from installation, denied rebates, or program rule changes after your edition date. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

6. Payment and tax

Payments are processed by Stripe; prices are in US dollars. We do not currently collect sales tax. If a jurisdiction requires collection, the tax will be added at checkout.

7. Your use of the plans

Your purchase is for your personal use on your own property. Do not resell, redistribute, or republish the PDFs.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by New York law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Albany County, New York.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
